I started breeding Falabellas in 2000 when I managed to acquire my first pair of imported horses, that was it I was hooked.
Having spent many years in the thoroughbred industry working on stud farms I have found the Falabella to be an absolute delight to do in every way, even the stallions are easy with great characters..
As a breed the Falabella is very intelligent and has a desire to please, so contrary to popular belief this makes them the ideal child's first riding pony as they do not have the wide girth associated with the Shetland or the wicked sense of humour also associated with the Shetland, they equally make great little driving horses.
I have since gone on to imported more horses from Argentina (there country of origin) so there can be no question of purity, these horses are as pure as the driven snow. They are registered with The British Falabella Studbook so have been DNA tested, their progeny can also be registered with the ACCF the Argentinean register, in fact there should be no Falabella registry that will not except them.
If you are interested in owning your own Falabella then please look at the photos but there is no substitute for seeing them in the flesh. I am always happy to offer advice and guidance to anyone who is thinking of owning one of these amazing little horses
